Plant a Tree Initiative
No matter the size or value of the event, whether it’s a small meeting or a large training event, we will plant a tree as a thank you for choosing us to host your event. We have partnered with More Trees to assist us with our tree reforestation initiative. More Trees contribute to a number of tree planting projects around the world, working with local communities to restore healthy forests. There are many benefits to planting trees. Trees help to fight the climate crisis, purify the air, improve soil quality, and lower the air temperature, with the co-benefits of reducing extreme poverty, biodiversity and community support.
Carbon dioxide is one of the biggest drivers of climate change, which makes forests one of our greatest solutions. Trees capture and absorb carbon dioxide from the air, while releasing oxygen in its place. Their size, root systems and long-life span mean they can do this at scale.
As an organisation, we are committed to acting as sustainably as possible and it is a cause which is close to our CEO Caroline Bull’s heart. Because of this, we have won many awards for our green initiatives in the past, including 10 years of Clean City Awards for our commitment to being environmentally friendly, recycling and waste reduction. Our Plant a Tree initiative is the newest addition to our sustainability effort.
