Meet Amerigo Pisapia, our Food & Beverage Manager
Amerigo Pisapia joined CCT Venues in 2018. Here’s what he had to say about working for CCT Venues:
How much experience do you have in the events industry?
“I have 5 years’ experience working in the event industry, but I have worked in the hospitality industry for 9 years.”
Why do you enjoy working in the events industry/ what inspired you to work in the events industry in first place?
“I enjoy working in the events industry because every day is different and I like having varierty. I also love meeting new people and I get to meet people from all over the world from working at CCT Venues. As our Bank Street venue in Canary Wharf is only a 12 minute drive from London City Airport, we get a lot of overseas clients coming to us to host their international events.”
What motivates you in your job?
“Having happy and satisfied clients is the most important thing to me and is my biggest motivator. I pride myself on always providing 5 star customer service. Whether it means spending time sourcing bespoke produce that is requested by clients or overseeing the service at drinks receptions or private dinners, I’ll always go above and beyond to ensure our clients have a great experience with us.”
What’s different about CCT Venues compared to other venues or the previous companies you have worked for?
“I can safely say that we’re like a big family at CCT Venues. We all work together as a team with the shared goal of consistently achieving the best results for our clients. Everyone is willing to help each other out however they can, even if it is not part of their job description and I haven’t experienced anything like this in the previous companies I worked for.”
“I love to travel and experience new cultures. As a result, I have discovered a wide range of different flavours, ingredients and drinks along the way. Consequently, I use these experiences as a source of inspiration in my day to day job, for example, when it comes to deciding what drinks to stock in our bar and developing new cocktails to add to the menu.”
