The Event Host is a customer facing and client focused role, responsible for front line communication with the client.
The Event Host is based at the reception desk ensuring that client requests are dealt with efficiently and correspondence with clients dealt with expediently. The post holder must ensure that all administrative systems and processes are completed to the highest standard and that client events are planned and executed to the customer’s satisfaction.

Experience & Skill Requirements

This post requires an efficient and confident individual with experience in a client facing environment. Strong administration and organisation skills are essential along with good general education and Intermediate Office skills, particularly Excel. Passionate about exceeding guest expectations, have a positive `can do` attitude and willing to learn. A high standard of personal presentation and a confident, professional, positive and welcoming personality. Enjoy working in a fast paced team environment, while able to pay close attention to detail.
A positive attitude to customer service, the hospitality industry and experience with hotel/operational booking systems would be a strong advantage.

Remuneration and Benefits

  • Salary £10,400 per annum equivalent to £10 per hour for a 20 hours week

Hours

CCT Venues are normally open Monday-Friday 7.00am - 7.30pm. You will be expected to work a 20 hour week including an hour of breaks per day. Typical working hours are early shifts starting between 7am and 8am and finishing 4 hours later, although flexibility will be required to meet client requirements.
