CCT Venues celebrates prestigious business award

There were smiles all round as CCT Venues received a 'Highly Commended' award at Archant London's 11th annual Thames Gateway Business Awards. 600 local business people watched CCT Venues take second prize in the hotly contested Growth category.

It's first time lucky for CCT Venues, who only become eligible to enter the awards when they opened their Canary Wharf venue earlier this year. CCT Venues had to satisfy the judges they had demonstrated exceptional business growth by answering a series of searching questions.

The glitzy awards ceremony, which celebrates successful businesses in the region, took place on Friday 21st November 2008 at the ExCeL Exhibition Centre, just a stone's throw from CCT Venues-Canary Wharf. The Thames Gateway Business Awards is organised by regional media business Archant and sponsored by NatWest.

CCT Venues-Canary Wharf is the company's newest acquisition. It offers 14 bright and airy rooms, as well as spacious terraces with river views, and can cater for up to 275 delegates.
